1. Leave includes emergency leave, sick leave and personal leave.
2. Emergency leave is the leave that foreign teachers need to take as a sudden illness disables them to fulfill their teaching for the day.
Flow of leave:
Step1:Foreign teachers call Head Teacher(or the person responsible for the cancelled courses )
Step2:Head Teacher informs Teaching Secretary for the corresponding language and program.
Step3:Teaching Secretary informs Secretary of Foreign Affairs for the corresponding record of cancelled classes.(p.s. The Teaching Secretary might be Secretary of Foreign Affairs at the same time for some programs in some schools)
3. Sick leave or personal leave are permitted to leave for 3 days.
Flow of Leave:
Step1:Foreign teachers fill in the Written Request for Leave
Step2:The Written Request needs to be submitted to Head of the Department for signature and approval from OIA subsequently.
Step3:Foreign teachers call Secretary of Foreign Affairs, informing the corresponding language and program.
4. Failure to follow the corresponding flow of leave will result in a reduction in salary for the sake of absence.
5.It is strictly prohibited that a foreign teacher directly negotiates with students about schedule change.
